Zombies and Monsters and Russians, oh my! I never play horror games - I get nightmares from watching CSI, for cripes' sake! - but I've spent the last week reading
Let's Play's version of Resident Evil/Silent Hill, which are both survival horror games (though Silent Hill is more of a series of epic mind-fucks with zombies than any real-world let's-kick-the-shit-out-of-zombies-and-r
ock-out! zombie survival horror thing). My mind being my mind, it seized upon a small spark of inspiration and presented me with a shiny-must-write-now kind of plot.
So that's what I'm doing now. Writing survival horror. Only my zombies aren't zombies - they're monsters from a parallel universe/dungeon dimension/really scary magical place. However, they
do invade a sleepy Oklahoma town with the intent of wiping it out.
